Job Summary

Our Sydney team is growing and with the establishment of a new office in Parramatta, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to take over the day to day management of this office, including reception, administration, and facilities coordination.

With capacity for approximately 70 staff, the office will primarily be utilised for staff working on Western Sydney projects and clients.

The Office Manager will become a face to the market, and will support successful project delivery.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and manage the office overheads and expenditure

  • Lead, mentor, coach and develop direct reports and assist them to achieve their full potential

  • Ensure all staff are collaborative, recognised and rewarded for their teamwork and team outcomes

  • Ensure all equipment and systems are maintained to support the office functionality

  • Proactively manage Safety, Health and Environmental Management across the office on a day-to-day basis, including Fire Warden and Emergency procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification(s) and recognised industry/professional body accreditation/membership

  • Over 10 years of working experience since graduation

  • Significant consulting/business and construction contract knowledge, with major project and/or team management experience

  • Excellent knowledge of project management, IMS systems and procedures, and financial systems

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, customer focus and business analysis skills

  • Leadership skills including technical, human relations, team building, innovation and motivation
