Job Summary

In this exciting and challenging opportunity, you will be working closely with our Environment, Power and Industrial (EPI) leadership team and the Sales & Marketing Manager for the Southern Region. This is a relationship driven role for a motivated professional who can help drive strategies for positioning and growth including key client programs, pursuit positioning and brand profiling activities internally and externally.

You will work on a broad range of innovative marketing and business development initiatives that help drive and deliver the business strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to drive EPI marketing activities and work on broader business campaigns in collaboration with the Southern marketing team to help position AECOM as a leader in the market.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive EPI’s external profile through regular social media, thought leadership and development of content for AECOM client publications in collaboration with the communications team

  • Work with client managers to develop client plans including identification of opportunities/pursuits associated with this pipeline

  • Identify, monitor and support the positioning for the sector’s major pursuits pipeline

  • In collaboration with the technical bid managers and teams, drive the pre-positioning and bid development for major EPI pursuits, including key message workshops

  • Manage high value and strategic bids and assist with the drafting, preparation and production for specified industry teams

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree qualified in marketing or similar discipline

  • 5+ years’ experience in a B2B or professional services environment with demonstrated success in a similar or related role

  • Experience with private sector would be an advantage

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships, gain trust, and support senior leaders in environments with pressing delivery schedules

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in writing, proofing and editing marketing and communications materials

  • Strategic style thinker with hands-on approach, who can demonstrate good commercial and proposal outcomes
