About the Business Line
We address the complete spectrum of energy challenges, including clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon management, hydropower and dams, thermal, geothermal and wind power generation, and transmission and distribution.
AECOM’s Transmission & Distribution business in Australia is seeking to expand its experienced team in Sydney. We are looking for a senior engineer who has a passion for technical excellence and enjoys the challenge of leading the delivery of multi-disciplinary power distribution projects.
You will be responsible to lead our Distribution Team and to provide the appropriate business development, technical support and deliver quality project outcomes on time and budget delivery. The individual will be required to build collaborative relationships to support the Distribution Team for the many internal and external key stakeholders.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be actively involved in an innovative and highly motivated team of energy professionals currently delivering landmark distribution projects throughout Australia. A sample of our current projects include:
- Major Sydney CBD Infrastructure Projects.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience in private reticulation design including HVC design, HV metering, downstream HV and LV reticulation, customer distribution substation and switchroom, backup generator, tri-generation.
Excellent project management and time management skills
In-depth understanding of NSW power distribution system
Experience in AutoCAD & Poles 'n' Wires, PLSCADD preferred
4+ years’ experience in NSW ASP Level 3 Design Industry (Desirable)
Ability to lead and support a Distribution Team of Professional Engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
