About the Business Line
We address the complete spectrum of energy challenges, including clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon management, hydropower and dams, thermal, geothermal and wind power generation, and transmission and distribution.
We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer into our well established centre of excellence in Swindon.
AECOM is working with some of the largest and most prestigious automotive and manufacturing clients globally. Our engineers and consultants tackle complex and innovative projects across these sectors.
We are looking for engineers who are motivated by challenges and are able to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
There are potential opportunities to work across a wide sector of engineering for example but not limited to, automotive, defence, aerospace, rail, food, medical.
The team has various positions that we are looking to fill to strengthen our existing team and to meet the customer requirements within the automotive industry. There are positions available at both manufacturing lead and senior manufacturing engineer level. Some of these positions will be based away from the Swindon office and will be in offices closer to the customer or at the customer site.
The successful applicants will have a background as part of an in house engineering, project, or process improvement team; or as part of a machine / system integrator to the automotive, aerospace, food, medical, Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or other heavily automated manufacturing industries.
Ideally you will be qualified to HND level or above, or will have a minimum of five years’ experience working within the industry and be capable to demonstrate this knowledge. Membership of an appropriate professional body would be advantageous for this role.
