About the Business Line

Infrastructure Services

We are planners, materials scientists, engineers, engagement consultants, asset managers and geotechnical specialists. Our team works to shape and influence some of our world’s most complex and challenging infrastructure. We also provide complementary services to other AECOM teams working in the sectors of Mining, Transportation, Manufacturing, Industrial and Water.

Job Summary

AECOM Nordic AB has offices in Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo. We are looking for a Project Director as a part of our team in Stockholm office. In your Role you will be a member of the management team and will manage the operation and the projects in middle of Sweden as well as deliver the project to the satisfaction of the client and AECOM.

This Role will cover following areas:

  • Project Planning - develop and successfully execute the project plan

  • Financial Management - among other responsibilities, control cost and margin, and manage cash consistent with KPIs. P&L responsibility

  • Project Team Management - effectively manage & develop the team in delivering the project

  • Technical Management - execute quality deliverables

  • Client Relationship - develop satisfied client as a valued partner

  • Business Development - win new work with clients (including cross-sell)

  • PM Development - pursue formal and informal training and continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements

For this role we require:

  • Higher education preferably in Civil engineering - MsC / MBA

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrable knowledge through education, skills and ability.

  • Good problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Very good skills and experience with MS office, including Word, Excel, MS Project

  • Excellent English language skills (speaking and writing) as well as Swedish/Scandinavian language skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Driving license cat. B
