AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a ESOH Analyst to perform Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) support for various acquisition programs (i.e. Submarines, Integrated Weapon Systems, Weapons, and Vehicles). This position will support NAVY and Marine Corps programs in our Stafford and Dahlgren, VA locations!

Candidate will be responsible for performing Environmental, Safety Occupational and Health and system safety required activities throughout the life cycle for various acquisition programs

  • Research and analyze ESOH and system safety element problems and solutions to mitigate hazards.

  • Perform routine customer interface with supervision in the execution and status reporting of tasks.

  • Review reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc.; consolidate comments from various organizations and assist with development of technical data packages for WSESRB, FISTRP or SSSTRPs

  • Assist in preparing routine correspondence (i.e., letters, memos and route sheets), spreadsheets, Gantt charts, presentations, and meeting minutes.

  • Assist with maintenance of ESOH and system safety support data, planning schedules, and documents.

Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience or equivalent. One (1) year experience in the ESOH, design, development, fabrication, manufacturer, modification, test and evaluation, installation,integration, and training, with regard to DOD combat systems, combat support systems, and related systems. Must have experience with the application of MIL-STD-882. Position requires an Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with Joint Software Systems Safety Handbook (SSSH).
