About the Business Line

Environment

Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to assist with the design of environmental systems and processes to minimize the release of hazardous materials or to remove these materials from the environment. We are looking for an individual with experience tracking analytical results and identifying remedial objectives of projects located at the site of former Manufactured Gas Plants (MGPs) and other environmental remediation sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record levels of pollutants

  • Compile progress reports

  • Perform quality control checks and develop quality control documents on analytical data

  • Assist in development of remediation system design and project submittals

  • Assist with oversight of installation and logging of boreholes

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering

  • 2+ years' environmental engineering experience

  • Registered Engineering Intern or Engineering in Training

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

  • Experience with MGP remediation projects

  • Experience logging borehole data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office Programs

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project environmental-related permitting is preferred
