About the Business Line
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.
We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our busy multi-disciplinary office in Southampton office
As an Administrator you will have the following responsibilities:
• Answering phones for directors and taking messages.
• Making travel arrangements.
• Organising internal and external meetings including meeting room bookings, organising refreshments and required facilities.
• Typing letters, minutes of meetings, formatting reports, booking conferences and training.
• Assisting in preparation of bid documents.
• Timesheet recording/chasing for team.
• Ordering PPE and checking/maintaining stock.
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
• Archiving and updating the database.
• Ordering stationery.
• Arranging couriers.
• Scanning and photocopying.
• Updating staff training records.
• Occasional cover for reception team.
To be successful in this role we would like to hear from candidates with the following:
Excellent ICT skills - MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional.
Previous experience working as an administrator/ project support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to liaise with internal and external clients.
Organised and effective with high attention to detail.
Ability to use discretion and judgement when dealing with confidential matters.
•Educated to GCSE/Standard level or equivalent with Maths and English at Grade C or above.
