About the Business Line

Water

We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

You will be part of the Water & Urban Development team and provide comprehensive construction management services to clients.

Responsible for water projects and works according to strict deadlines and within budget. Assure health and safety of construction site and accountable for timely and satisfactory completion.

Project Planning

  • Directs preconstruction, construction and post occupancy phase activities

  • Participates in Owner contract negotiation, modification and close out

  • Leads trade contractor prequalification, project buyout orchestration, subcontract negotiations, change management, contractor claims management, project progress management, subcontract closeout and post occupancy warranty issue management

  • Employee Engagement

  • Supports and leads assigned project team

  • Ensures assigned team is actively involved in the project

  • Staffing and Development

  • Monitors and reviews performance and work quality of assigned personnel.

Financial Performance

  • Assures project plans are created and maintained for each project and thoroughly communicated, understood and utilized by the team

  • Monitors project plans for labor utilization, other direct costs, contract compliance, business risk, and forecasting and earnings recognition

  • Participates in developing corrective plan for underperforming projects.

Risk Assessment/Risk Management

  • Works in concert with others to minimize project risk.

  • Client Service

  • Monitors project work at an appropriate level to ensure high quality service to assigned clients.

  • Project Quality

  • Assures execution of quality control activities for all elements on a project.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years related experience in managing large scale construction projects. Experience in managing water projects are highly preferred

  • Expert administrative and technical knowledge of construction process with a high degree of maturity and sound judgment

  • Demonstrated experience in construction management on highly technical, complex projects with recognized leadership and supervisory abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
