We are planners, materials scientists, engineers, engagement consultants, asset managers and geotechnical specialists. Our team works to shape and influence some of our world’s most complex and challenging infrastructure. We also provide complementary services to other AECOM teams working in the sectors of Mining, Transportation, Manufacturing, Industrial and Water.

Job Summary

AECOM has been awareded project for supervision of implementation for the green energy corridor projects, INTRA STATE TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS - KFW, Himachal Pradesh.

This is a Large-scale Power Distribution & Transmission project and We are seeking potential candidate for the position of Project Accountant, for immediate employment. This position will be part of the Maintaining Project Account for Vendors.

The job responsibilities are as below:

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to book of accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.

  • Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.

  • Checking of hiring vehicle Log Book.

  • Review and approve online time sheets.

  • Preparation of client Invoice & submission.

  • Review account totals related to project assets and expenses.

  • Verify and reconcile contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.

  • Report on project profitability to management.

  • Report to management regarding the remaining funding available for projects.

  • Followup for payment from client.

  • Checking Staff traveling allowance & payment.

  • Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required.

  • Preparation of Monthly budgets & utilization report.

Location could be any of the following - Shimla, Hamirpur, Mandi & Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh.​

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: BCom/ Mcom

  • Total 2+ Years Experience

  • Experience in Invoice Management, Expense Management, Bills certification, vendor bill management, maintaining project accounts for vendors​

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Master's of Business Administration is preferred.

  • Experience in Power Distribution Projects.
