AECOM is seeking a Chemical Cleaning Operator to be based in our Sherwood Park, Alberta location.
This position will operate chemical cleaning trucks and ancillary equipment in a safe and professional manner at various locations.
Responsibilities may include:
Operating oilfield pressure truck on wells
Hydro testing, starting and killing a well, tank stinging
Working with well head components, progressive cavity pumps, insert pumps, tank stinging, flushing flow lines
Performing pre and post trip inspection, keep record of logs, paperwork
Maintaining all tools and equipment to the required standards
Driving safely and professionally, obeying all traffic rules at all times
Participating fully in job observations, near miss and HID reporting, site inspections, weekly and monthly safety meetings, and tailgate meetings
Identifying and mitigating safety hazards
Executing assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
If necessary, operate equipment for the purpose of loading and unloading while staying within the design parameters of the particular piece of equipment
Maintain the truck in a safe working order and advise supervisors of any needed repairs by monitoring fluid and lubrication levels frequently
Maintain all paperwork (driver logs, Daily Inspections, etc.) in a satisfactory manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
This is a 14-14 shift position.
Camp accommodations are available for this position.
This position will be required to drive a vehicle on behalf of AECOM and therefore will require the candidate to submit a satisfactory driver's abstract for review.

Minimum education requirements include completion of High School
Minimum of 6 months experience on particular piece of equipment (more if work will be performed in sensitive areas)
A valid Class 1/A or 3/D driver’s license or equivalent is required
Clean driver's abstract required
A minimum of three years of fluid haul driving and operating experience
Must be able to read and write adequately for the purpose of completing regulatory paperwork
Must be able to read maintenance manuals for the equipment
H2S Alive Certification required
First Aid Certification required
