Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Environmental Remediation Project Manager for employment in the São Paulo, Brazil office. The professional (Project Manager) will work in with remediation services, specific mechanical systems, chemical oxidation and other related activities, field works related with investigations and remediation, elaborate logistic structure of meetings and manage or conduct field works and elaboration of technical reports.

The PM will manage projects in the area of soil and groundwater investigation and remediation. The work requires a broad knowledge of the area of hydrogeology, remediation techniques, human health risk assessment and strong project management skills, including financial performance, schedules, budget, human and material resource planning, change management and Relationship with the customer/stakeholders.

The professional will plan, manage and supervises all operations included in moderate-sized projects with greater risk and complexity with moderate to large financial impact, successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts and executes project. It acts as the main point of contact with the client. It seeks, identifies and converts new business into opportunities with its customers and can manage other project managers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, geology or related sciences.

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Remarkable behavior

  • Leadership / Delegation and management team

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Establishment and achievement of goals

  • Communication skills (speaking and listening) internally, environmental agencies and with clients

  • Permanent update in technical and business management areas

  • Available to travel (if it’s necessary)

  • Available to work at weekends (if it’s necessary)

  • Driven license to drive, if necessary

  • MS Office package domain

  • Technical Responsibility (CREA or equivalent)

  • BD skills, strategy and commercial vision of the business

  • Flexibility and negotiation.

  • Experience in field works – Specially remediation systems

  • Experience with technical reports, meetings

  • GIS experience

  • English fluent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience
