AECOM seeks an experienced Architect to join our San Francisco, CA team.

Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
Diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices, uses advanced techniques, and has responsibility over finished plans, specifications, and material approval
Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and working drawings, develops details and edits specifications
Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations
Coordinates with consultants and subcontractors as needed
Works in partnership with the design team to create a set design and technical documents
Oversees and gives direction to junior staff as needed
Works on project architect teams of 5 to 10 people
Leads the development of contract documents
Provides input and editing of construction specifications
Coordinates with public jurisdictions and consultants
10+ years experience in the design and management of Healthcare and corporate/commercial
Projects Experience in all areas of Healthcare Architecture: Acute Care Hospitals (new and renovation), Out Patient Clinic's and Medical Office Buildings
Experience in all areas of corporate/commercial projects working with real estate brokers, developers, and corporate clients
Experience in overall client and project management including program development, proposal/ fee development, design management, project documentation management and construction administration management
15+ years' experience preferred
Knowledge and experience using AutoCADD, Revit, Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
