Job Summary

This position will provide professional support in the administration of the Division Information Assurance and Security function to ensure compliance with security regulations and procedures in accordance with DOD, customer-specific guidelines and company-wide security policy and procedures.

Duties include responsibilities as an Authorized User and executing a Privileged User Agreement. Must be capable of ensuring information systems are accredited and certified, and operated, used, maintained and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices. Coordination with the ISSM for the security policies and safeguards on all personnel who access the information system, and provide to the ISSM input regarding configuration management. Conducting periodic reviews to ensure compliance with accreditation and certifications, and reporting security incidents and incident status.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., BSEE, BSCS) and 3 to 7 years of experience or equivalent work experience with certifications will be considered. IAT Level III or IAM Certification required. Excellent communications and analytical skills required. Position may require travel. Candidates must hold an ACTIVE security clearance at SECRET level. This position will provide professional support in the administration of the Division Information Assurance and Security function to ensure compliance with security regulations and procedures in accordance with DOD, customer-specific guidelines and company-wide security policy and procedures.

Duties include responsibilities of adhering to cybersecurity regulations and directives and provide system security engineering solutions in accordance with Department of Defense, Department of Army, US Army Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and/or other applicable government components and agencies. This includes maintaining authority to operate (ATO) and authority to connect (ATC) to all requisite networks. Conducting vulnerability scans and perform manual security technical implementation guide (STIG) checks, and create associated documentation required to maintain favorable authorization decisions. Additionally, validate STIG implementation through the use of Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) validation products. Secondary duties include conducting patch testing and deployment for an accredited system.

Be able to perform patch management, STIG compliance, Scan/Fix/Scan activities.

Excellent communications and analytical skills required. Position may require travel. Candidates must hold an ACTIVE security clearance at SECRET level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DoD experience preferred.

  • Previous or current Position of Trust (ADPII).
