Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Scheduler for immediate employment for the Sacramento, CA office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Provide guidance to team
Program schedule development with input from program manager, designers, client & construction team
Provide updates to the program schedule and contribute to program reporting
Provide cost and resource loading of the schedule for planning, design, construction, procurement and move-in Review and monitor schedules of other entities including, designers, contractors, etc
Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends
Act as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems
Oversee the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction
Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the program schedule and personnel under his/her direction on a day-to-day basis
High School diploma or equivalent
7+ year’s experience in managing construction projects
Oracle/Primavera P6 experience mandatory
Good communication skills (written and verbal), proactive problem solving, ability to adjust to changing job environment, and background in office procedures
Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
Strong customer service skills
Ability to organize and manage contractors on complex projects and coordinate with approving agencies
Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices and procedures, applicable laws and government regulations, principles of management and supervision
As required by client, candidate must pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment
