Responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

  • Develops planning and creative design concepts for projects based on client’s need

  • Analyze space and quantify how to use that by evaluating what is needed

  • Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods under general supervision of a manager or a senior interior designer

  • Works with clients as well as internal and external project team to execute the project from concept to execution and completion

  • May hold pieces of project or have significant technical role, as a project lead; final authority usually rests with a more senior staff member or manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint

  • Has a keen sense of what the client needs and brings that design concept and implement it

  • Requires general knowledge of design development, construction documents and Furniture Fixture & Equipment (FF&E) processes

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills fostering positive work environment

  • Outstanding design and graphic skills

  • Possesses analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities

  • Valid drivers license

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • License or NCIDQ certification preferred or actively pursuing examination

  • Experience with design of Healthcare and Government market sectors preferred

  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (Revit) preferred and LEED AP qualifications desirable

  • Experience with furniture systems design desired
