Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to be based out in Riyadh. The Structural Engineer will work on the

structural design of various types of medium to large projects such as commercial,high-rises, complex bridges and other mixed-use developments.

Roles & Responsibility:

  • Responsible for Structural activities

  • Lead a team of draftsmen and assign the jobs and responsible for the quality of drawings

  • Coordination with Authorities for approvals of schemes

  • Coordination with project managers and other discipline team members

  • Review of material submittals, RFIs, Shop Drawings Etc.,

  • Preparing concept design reports

  • Preparing Project Specific Specifications in line with BS, Kahramaa, QCS and other relevant standards and codes

  • Coordinate with time schedules

  • Completion of deliverables in agreed time schedules

  • Developing existing standards for Drafting, engineering and Quality, Safety systems

  • Manage Projects ( Design and supervision) for structural related activities and coordinated services

  • Manage Design Engineers and coordinate with site engineers for any site related issues.

  • Attend all client and Authorities meetings

Specific Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal, written & sketch communication skills

  • Experience in concept stage work for Architecturally Demanding projects

  • Safety awareness

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-8 years of related work experience within engineering background preferably in the ME region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited University

  • Chartered Membership/ P E required or good progression towards
