AECOM is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to be based out in Riyadh.
Roles & Responsibility:
Perform survey work under the direction and guidance of the Resident Engineer.
Establish primary horizontal and vertical control points including reference ties for re-establishing the points in the field.
Record all measurements, rod readings and calculations neatly and accurately in field books as the work progresses.
Coordinate with the Contractor’s surveyor on work priorities and schedules.
Maintain field books and Daily inspection reports.
Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements
Check all work by completing traverse closures and bench circuits.
Report discrepancies or technical problems to the Resident Engineer.
Perform joint measurements of the completed work or payment.
Check completed work for conformance to the line and grade required by the project plans in coordination with the Inspector assigned to the item of work.
Perform regular checks of the Contractor’s setting out to verify proper execution and accuracy.
Maintain equipment in proper condition and perform frequent calibration checks.
Specific Skills Required:
Strong Construction supervision experiences on Building projects.
Well experienced in the construction field.
Ability to utilize modern computer software and survey equipment including GPS Trimble.
Person Specification (Behavioral Attributes):
- Ability to travel between sites.
- 6+ years relevant experience in major projects with emphasis on field surveying and ability to keep surveying notes, prepare survey report, as-built survey reports etc. Experience in Building Projects is preferred.
- Diploma in Surveying.
