AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to be based out in Riyadh. An Electrical Engineer is responsible for the approvals of all electrical/site drawings, supporting calculations and specifications from contractors. Coordinates the flow of technical documents (requisitions, drawings, specifications, calculations) between interfacing engineering disciplines and contractors. Provides alternate options and details to ensure that all electrical issues are resolved on site.
Duties & Responsibility:
Monitors the electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the Contract Documents and the Procedures manual.
Reviews, approves and processes all electrical technical submittals.
Coordinating and supervising the work of all electrical activities and operations.
If needed Liaise with local authorities and ministerial agencies having jurisdiction over the project.
Receive/action Request for Information (RFI) that apply to electrical works. RFI's requiring design feedback will be directed to the Designer for response. Review the responses for adequacy.
Review contractors' claims related to electrical works. Prepare recommendations for claims approval or rejection. Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules.
Witness testing and commissioning of the works.
Approve the contractors' as-built drawings
Assist with the final inspection of the work. Review the adequacy and accuracy of punch lists. Monitor final completion of the work
Specific skills required:
- Arabic Language a plus
Minimum Requirements Minimum 7 years expereince in his field
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
