Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe.
The Construction/Project Management (CMPM) Division of AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Civil Inspector for a large federal campus project outside of Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the construction management team with civil QA inspection dutiess to include but not limited to: QA inspection, testing coordination and oversight, RFI review, project documentation, reporting, correspondence, contractor coordination etc.
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years construction experience on construction contracts and assignments in the $5-10 million range
Civil/structural knowledge to include; roadway construction, drainage, site work and excavation, grades and elevations, material testing, erosion control, paving, concrete, and structural elements
Well versed in computer applications, reporting, project documenation, subcontractor coordination, testing oversight and safety
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized professional, with excellent communication skills and have the ability to build and maintain a team environment at all times
Physically located at the project site as an extension of the PMCM team and will coordinate with the owners staff and tenants as required for for this large federal campus project
US citizenship required
