Under minimal supervision, the Training Specialist provides technical and/or programmatic leadership consistent with established values, goals and mission expectations. Acts as an integral part of communication systems, providing and upward and downward link for the timely transfer of information. Advises management of potential areas of concerns and impacts regarding proposed program, policy and/or procedural changes. Complete understanding and application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Coordinate, Develop and Facilitate the Maintenance Training Program. This will include reviewing industry practices based on benchmarking and developing appropriate curriculum. Source and evaluate third party maintenance training programs Coordinates technical and administrative activities in area of expertise.Assist with or be responsible for designing, developing and delivering facility training using the Systematic Approach to Training across multiple disciplines that include operations, radiological control, industrial hygiene and maintenanceAssist with or be responsible for developing schedules with weekly status meetings, determining operational readiness compliance requirements along with building external customer/vendor interface relationshipsRequired to meet critical timelines with quality products for high profile Company performance operationsCoordinate with Program Management to optimize training requirementsPerform duties as the Training liaison to the supported organization. Performs other related tasks as required in training activities
BA/BS degree in Training & Development, Instructional Design, or a related discipline. Minimum of 8 years related experience.
Proficient with VISION software by Focus LearningPrevious Hanford Training InstructorPrior experience as a maintenance instructorPrior experience as a Training instructor
