Job Responsibilities/Duties

Under direct supervision, performs software engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering or project tasks. Demonstrates beginning problem solving and exercise of judgment as required on lower level work details and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.May function as group participant on special assignment as assigned by supervisor.Perform a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning and design phase of project. Limited use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and conceptsComply with WRPS policies and proceduresEnsure ISMS Principles are incorporated into organization's activitiesAccountable for personal safety based on the principles of no injuriesBecome knowledgeable of company safety programs and policiesComplete other training as required to support career pathPerform tasks as assigned, obtaining guidance and help as needed

Required Qualifications

Education: BS Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringCandidates should have 2-6 years of experience as software developer or software engineering

Desired Qualifications

Good interpersonal and communication skills needed to be able to communicate with personnel, management, and support organizations.Specific software development knowledge of: C#, ASP .NET programming, SQL database experience, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), JavaScript, Entity Framework, CSS/HTML, MVC framework.
