Position Title Senior Financial Analyst

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of assignments requiring the knowledge and ability to select and apply standard financial and accounting techniques, procedures and criteria in the Business Services Department. Demonstrates the ability to independently plan, develop, and coordinate phases of financial and accounting activities within the Business Services Department. Displays good analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Accomplish work requests in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide support relative to client, employee, and corporate requests.
Lead Deltek Timekeeping system compliance and reporting for non-manual and craft employees.
Perform onboarding of new hires.
Review and process travel expense reports. Assist with weekly business travel report submitted to client.
Review relocation policy with new hires and process relocation invoices.
Review and process accounts payable invoices and contribution requests.
Assist with preparation and processing of Affiliate Services Requests.
Maintain Deltek CostPoint project set-up and funding.
Lead month-end closing process. Prepare monthly journal vouchers, and corporate and client reports.Reconcile financial statements and balance sheet accounts.
Prepare forecasts and multi-year business plan.
Review labor and ODC transactions for accuracy and ensure proper back-up documentation is on file. Research items and initiate code corrections as necessary.
Review reports compiled by less experienced staff.
Assist in the preparation and review of client invoices.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Assist with self assessments.
May assume lead responsibilities within a functional area in Business Services.
Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment
Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.

(OFNM) Office Field Non-Manual
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or demonstrated equivalent. A CPA or MBA preferred. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Experience: At least 6 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, business administration or related field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Time & Expense, and Cognos reporting preferred.
Focus areas for this position: Lead month-end closing process. Prepare monthly journal vouchers, and corporate and client reports. Reconcile financial statements and balance sheet accounts. Prepare forecasts and multi-year business plan.
