Job Responsibilities/Duties

Perform Quality Assurance (QA) inspections and tests (Basic, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Welding VT-2 Visual Examination, VT-3 Examination and Receiving) to verify conformance with specified requirements for the purpose of determining acceptability. Assure compliance to Company and Quality Assurance policies and procedures, as well as any other applicable standards and codes. Keep associated records. As assigned by management, carry out surveillances, special studies, data gathering efforts and assist in training and communications.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma, plus three years experience working in an industrial or nuclear field. Current or prior inspection or testing experience performing visual inspections, dimensional inspections, NDE inspection or other inspection methods.

Desired Qualifications

Prior QA inspection and testing is necessary. Strong communication skills desired. Able to communicate with Operations and maintenance regarding QA inspection activities. Also, to work well with peers and management. Candidate to have transferable inspection certifications, i.e. Basic, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, NACE, etc. Microsoft office.
