Under general supervision, act as a fully competent engineer in the functional and technical area of assignments. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of engineering including a general knowledge of related disciplines.Comply with WRPS policies and procedures.Ensure ISMS Principles are incorporated into organization's activities and outputs.Accountable for safety based on the principles of no injuries to anyone and continuous improvement.Develop and sustain productive customer relationships.Support preparation of Statements of Work, design products, procurements, specifications, etc.Prepare and approve design media.Prepare and approve Engineering documents, evaluations, and calculations.Perform routine administrative activities/duties on time (routine training, safety meetings, TIS, continuing training, staff meetings)Application of ASME B31.3 piping code with regards to design, analysis, fabrication and testing of piping systems.Application of ASME AG-1-2015, Code on Nuclear Air and Gas Treatment, as applicable to WRPS designs.Application of ASME N511, In-Service Testing of Nuclear Air Treatment, Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning Systems as applicable to WRPS designs.
BS Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical with a minimum 7 years engineering experience.One year nuclear experience.
Experience with Instrumentation & Control Systems associated with HVAC systems.Experience providing operation and maintenance support of nuclear HVAC systems.Experience in development of preventive maintenance procedures.Experience in Mechanical & HVAC system operating procedure development.
