This position is for an Electrical Engineer to support Production Operations Engineering. Work activities will include a variety of engineering duties including but not limited to conducting field walk downs, developing specifications and change documents, performing and reviewing calculations, development and review of load studies, reviewing designs, and providing electrical engineering maintenance support.Daily interface with all Engineering team members including staff members, vendors, etc. regarding work scope and milestone commitment. Daily interface with Operations Management and bargaining unit personnel. Weekly interface & coordination with WRPS program areas. Responsible systems will include tank farm power distribution, instrumentation, and controls. Candidate(s) must exhibit a working knowledge of National Electric Code and other Electrical Industry Standards. BS degree in Electrical Engineering (electrical power option preferred) plus 5 years experience.
Experience providing engineering support for corrective and preventive maintenance of nuclear facility systems, including work package development and planning, and experience working with operations and bargaining unit personnel is desirable.Previous experience with mechanical systems, components and equipment is desired.
