Job Summary

AECOM are currently seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our Qatar business.

The Senior Planning Engineer will support the Qatar business on major and complex projects within the region.

Duties will include

  • Undertaking full responsibility and tasks of the Planning & Scheduling and time claims evaluation

  • Able to form effective relationships with clients and gain their confidence

  • Able to act as a mentor/leader for more junior staff

  • Competent with all relevant AECOM systems and processes

  • Expert of all methods used for Time Claim evaluation

Minimum Requirements

The candidate should hold experience in the following:

  • Project deliverables

  • Construction Methodologies

  • Understanding the procedures and techniques utilized during construction

  • Resources Levelling, KPI’s and Performance Criteria

  • Project’s Time, Monitoring and Controlling

  • Contracts and Risk Management

  • Change and Claim Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years experience in similar project specific role

  • 5 years Experience as a Senior Planner

  • Experience within the Middle East region (not essential but advantageous).

  • Extensive experience in Primavera programs is required

  • Professional membership in Commercial Management
