About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Hydrogeology, Geoscience and Geophysics Technical Leader for immediate employment in the Providence, RI office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Providing technical leadership for hydrogeology, geosciences and geophysical aspects of projects and proposals
May serve as lead professional in geosciences for mid to large size projects or programs
As an individual researcher or contributor, carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures, applying advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices related to geosciences
Mentoring junior staff
Managing select projects
Bachelor's degree in Geophysic
Master's degree in Environmental Engineering (or comparable related field)
10+ years of experience
Experience in environmental consulting
Demonstrated experience with the successful application of geophysical techniques in the assessment and remediation of hazardous waste sites contaminated with chlorinated solvents
Bioremediation planning and execution
Brownfields remediation project management experience
Experience with Remediation in Connecticut
Excellent communication skills
US citizenship required
