AECOM is seeking an Information Assurance Specialist to provide support maintaining and addressing IA and Cyber Security related matters. This individual will be responsible to ensure adherence to applicable Federal/DoD Cyber Security regulations, policies and procedures. This position will also be responsible to provide assessment & authorization support including control identification, documentation development and review, and compliance & remediation support as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF); conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks and protection.
Tasking may include:
Vulnerability management, media destruction, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) loss reporting, classified spillage reporting and wireless scanning
Report security alerts and serious security vulnerabilities for investigation, isolation, eradication, and recovery.
Assess new initiatives and technologies for cyber security requirements by identifying applicable security requirements
Identify changing IA and Cybersecurity requirements impacting internal procedures supporting accreditation and inspections, vulnerability management, wireless scanning, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) loss reporting, media destruction, user awareness & training and account management.
Analyze new cyber directives and provides recommendation in developing procedures
Candidate must have a Bachelor Degree and 4 years of related experience or 12 years of related experience.
Active Secret clearance is required.
Prefer candidate possess DoD 8570.01-M Certification
