The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the production of civil engineering aspects of projects

  • Provides technical direction to and mentors civil engineers

  • Performs design for more complex tasks

  • Ensures corporate quality procedures are followed

  • Meets client quality, schedule, and budget expectations

  • Interacts with clients and oversees sub-consultants

  • Assists Project Managers with various tasks including developing scope, schedule, and budgets for projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Professional Engineering license

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

Experience in multiple elements of civil engineering design with an emphasis in water resources and transportation projects including, but not limited to the following:

  • Hydrology and hydraulics

  • Stormwater management

  • Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control

  • Site grading and drainage

  • Permitting

  • Plan and construction documents preparation

  • Highway Design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike projects

  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Experience in Microstation and InRoads
