About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
AECOM is actively seeking a Project Manager for immediate employment. Incumbent may be based out of any one of our Northeast Area offices. This person will work in a national group assigned to key opportunities across North America. Role also includes oversight and potential “turn-around “ assignments of existing projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Interaction with key clients during opportunity development
Leadership of proposal teams and project execution teams
Responsible for project management and technical direction during project implementation
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
8+ years experience in environmental remediation and civil engineering projects with project management and leadership roles
Strong background in firm-fixed price contracts
Proven track record in successful business development/ project capture accomplishments
Effective communication skills both oral and written
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Expected travel required up to 50%
10+ years experience in environmental remediation and civil engineering projects with project management and leadership roles
Demonstrated experience in PM accounting, scheduling and other tools
