Job Summary


Coordination and support of all corporate marketing functions with focus on production of proposals and qualifications. This includes leading a team project pursuit effort, gathering information, page layout, copywriting, editing, packaging, and general promotion of the company’s construction services.​ This position performs all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct.

  • Coordinate end-to-end process of proposal production with emphasis on creative and accurate production including leading the proposal team, pulling standard boilerplate write-ups, proof-reading, writing, editing, layout, graphic design, reproduction, binding, assembling and shipping.​

  • Interface with proposal authors to help define the win strategy, scope of each section and the key issues to be addressed.​

  • Serve as team leader to track overall marketing workload, keeps Division Manager abreast of workload and submits all resources to Corporate Marketing on a monthly basis.​

  • Contribute to the development and day-to-day implementation of corporate marketing standards.​

  • Provide any specific project write-ups or new information prepared for proposals to the Marketing Director.​

  • Funnel all proposals and presentations to the Marketing Director for future reference.​

  • Ensure that corporate identity and brands guidelines are followed.​

  • Assist in the development of objectives and strategies in support of overall corporate marketing and business goals.​

  • Coordinate preparation of all materials for project interviews (presentation, leave behinds, name tags, boards, equipment, etc.​).​

  • Attend pre-proposal conferences as invited.​

  • Participate in interviews when requested by operations managers.​

  • Maintain all working project files.​

  • Assist all staff members in maintaining a company-wide client-oriented team approach in all activities.​

  • Provide assistance and direction to graphic designer in the creation, design and production of graphics.​

  • Submit new or revised boilerplate information to Marketing Director.​

  • Cultivate and maintain good working relationships with all Hunt associates regardless of department, division or functional role.​

  • Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.​

Minimum Requirements

  • Four year Marketing, Journalism, Communications or similar degree required.​

  • Mid-level business experience (5-10 years), preferably in AEC industry desired.​

  • Practical hands-on experience with the creation and coordination of proposals desired.​

  • Strong creative design capabilities a plus.​

  • Excellent written communications—including technical writing skills—highly desired.​

  • Must be able to organize and prioritize work and possess ability to multi task and work under the pressure of deadlines.​

  • Excellent grammar and proof reading skills required.​

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in harmony with a wide range of personalities in a fast-paced environment critical to success.​

  • Must be proficient with Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team mandatory.​
