Job Summary

AECOM is looking to recruit a Mangement Account on a part time basis to join their team in Peterborough.

Within the role you will provide professional assistance to the Business & Ops Manager supporting the company’s business objectives with a cost effective and proactive approach. The role offers an all-round position covering inputting invoices through to year-end accounts.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Produce and distribute Management Information Reports as requested from Management team.

Cash flow forecasting including timely collection of Aged Debt and Credit Control and timely payment of creditors.

Manage Supplier Statement Reconciliation

Ensure compliance with Construction Industry Scheme.

Provide variance analysis reporting on actual spend V plan, budgetary control and provide measurement and feedback to budget holders and client.

Production of management accounts and associated schedules. Annual statutory accounts preparation.

Update and maintain finance procedures in association with the company’s goals to ensure legal compliance and employee understanding.

Undertake complete Purchase Ledger duties to include invoice coding and approval within Delegated Limits of Authority by Service Line Manager. Process onto Accounting System for Month End Sales Invoice preparation.

Prepare Sales Invoices to client providing detailed back-up for presentation to the client and input to accounting system

Preparation of Accrual/Prepayment and Depreciation Journals and reconcile P&L at month end.

Maintenance and Reconciliation of the General Ledger

Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Processing of employee expenses

Credit card reconciliation and payment

Develop Financial and Management Information reporting.

Complete various head office reporting

Undertake projects as and when required to assist in cost saving and achieving targets

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role we want to hear from candidates who have carried out a similar role previously ideally in a corporate environment.

You will be a hands on finance professional who enjoys dealing with all aspects of the role.

Preferred Qualifications

Along with the relevant experience candidates will also need to be ACCA, CIMA OR AAT qualified.
