Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our bridges team. The Senior Engineer role contributes to the winning, management and delivery of small to large scale projects. It is responsible for the management of resources, budgets and timelines and enhancing client and working relationships. This role may assist with preparing proposals and presentations to clients to win work.

As a Senior Engineer within our bridges team you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing road and bridge projects and meeting delivery requirements

  • Experience in successfully leading project teams

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, report writing, development of proposals

  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to develop relationships

  • Proven results in building client relationships and business development skills

  • A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment

  • Quality and productivity in execution of duties and responsibilities as outlined above

  • Timeliness and accuracy of completing tasks

  • Effective collaboration, degree and level of input and professional assistance given to key contacts including all staff and suppliers

  • A high drive to achieve set goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline.

  • 8+ years’ experience

  • Successful track record in field of expertise and substantial project experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

  • Knowledge of the market for consulting services

  • Experience of MRWA standards and practices

  • SAM, Space Gass, ACES or similar experience with software packages
