About the Business Line
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.
We are seeking a professional civil engineer with industry experience to join the Civil and Water Infrastructure team in Perth. The initial focus of this role will be supporting an existing workload of high profile urban infrastructure projects in Perth, including major transport upgrades.
The Professional role plans, manages and ensures delivery of projects (or component of) resources, budgets and timelines. Responsibilities include the preparation and presentation of proposals to clients and developing and enhancing relationships with clients, AECOM staff and suppliers.
Work includes multi-disciplinary projects in land development, urban renewal, water and wastewater infrastructure, defence, highways, rail and bridge design.
Meeting delivery requirements from concept through to detailed design and construction.
Assist in determining clients’ needs and expectations in proposals and project plans.
Contribute to the complete and integrated set of project documents by working co-operatively with team members.
Develop and foster client relationships through excellent project work delivery and contribute to repeat business by representing the company in a professional manner when dealing with clients, contractors and others.
Bachelor in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience in civil design and construction.
Experience in water and wastewater pipeline, infrastructure and treatment system design.
Track record of obtaining approvals with utility providers, including working knowledge of Water Corporation standards.
Experience in consulting engineering or similar local/state government role.
