AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary

This position is located in Hawaii (Pearl Harbor).

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Logistics Department to include receiving, processing and reporting the status of requisitions, backorder management, managing inventories and commodities; research and cataloging; and procuring storing material, issuing material and financial management and accounting. Must be on-site during the performance of the task order and must possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the project and shall be qualified to be the Contractor’s on-site supervisor and POC for government representatives. The Project Supervisor shall be able to provide overall supervision for Contractor employees, to include, but not limited to; planning and managing the project professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided; effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of the labor-hour services ordered; ensure cost saving factors and quality controls are used to ensure work is performed as scheduled, and at a fair and reasonable cost.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the staff including ensuring staff is adequately trained; coordinates, priorities and schedules workloads to ensure timely and effective completion of work.

  2. Monitor and evaluates staff performance.

  3. Ensure compliance of all logistic services in accordance with NASA, Navy and federal standards and regulations; Statement of Work (SOW), company policies, procedures and directives.

  4. Review and monitor budgets for logistics programs and departments notifying Logistics Manager of expenditures and limits.

  5. Assists in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the overall effective logistics program to support the initiatives and directives of the customer.

  6. Examine the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental procedures and recommend new initiatives and methodology in the logistics area based on requirements and priorities.

  7. In absence of Logistic Manager, act as the company liaison with other contractors and the customer for planning, implementing and coordinating logistics initiatives.

  8. When required, you may be subject to shift changes, weekend, holiday and overtime work.

  9. Shift work, weekends, mandatory overtime (with proper notice given) and cross-training can be required in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.

  10. In accordance with the contract, all personnel performing work require United States citizenship or acceptable proof of naturalization prior to employment

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business or related field and at least 5 years of supervisory experience in one or more of the following: logistics services, material management, transportation, material handling, use of information systems in logistics management or equivalent training and work experience. Excellent analytical and communications skills; must possess planning/organizing and leadership skills, and a valid driver’s license. General understanding of current systems and methodologies. Positions may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. This position is contingent upon task order award and customer needs.

Must meet security clearance requirements.

This position has a rotating shift.
