AECOM ITS Traffic Department is actively seeking a creative, self-driven, highly talented manager that will be instrumental in continuing to grow the ITS traffic department for Central and Northern Florida. As the manager for the Traffic Department, you will have responsibility for traffic projects, department growth, marketing, business development, and meeting financial goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
As the traffic manager, you will lead and manage projects, staff, and business development activities in the area of traffic engineering and design
Serve as client contact for AECOM central and northern Florida clients
Participate in strategic planning efforts to expand the practice, and organize and lead team members in execution of the strategic plan
Provide leadership in the successful delivery of transportation planning projects, including schedule, quality and within budget performance
Lead and support staff through staff development, mentoring, coaching, performance evaluations, and recruitment
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
13+ years of experience in the traffic signal design, and traffic operations, including experience in the Florida DOT market and experience in staff management and project management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic
Valid driver's license required
US Citizenship required
