Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Toll Planning Engineer for employment in the Orlando, FL office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Toll feasibility studies

  • Toll concept analysis

  • Toll operations analyses

  • Toll agency presentations

  • Some on-site work

  • Project management

  • Assist the Manager of Advisory Services

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • At least one project or engagement in the highway environment, either in civil, structural, systems or operations

  • Proven English writing and speaking skills

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills (Excel)

  • Interest in transportation public policy and/or ITS

  • Interest in business, accounting and/or finance

  • Basic administrative skills (MS Outlook, writing, scheduling, meeting organization)

  • Flexibility with assignments and locations and willingness to jump in to new types of assignments

  • Up to 30% travel will be required depending on project and market area requirements across North America

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

  • Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with public sector toll agencies or public sector Transportation Departments, as staff or consultant

  • MS Visio sketches and drawing,

  • MS Project,

  • Office 365 skills including understanding of RDBMS

Any experience with:

  • Toll collection

  • IT and systems

  • Capital and/or operating costs analyses

  • Capital planning and programming

  • Toll agency finance or accounting

  • General Engineering Consulting

  • Traffic and Revenue Consulting
