AECOM is seeking an Audit/Courier Manager to be based in our Orlando, Florida location.
The Audit & Courier Manager reports directly to the Project Director and leads all aspects of the process of auditing and reviewing all manual and Automatic Coin Machine (ACM) toll revenue collection, deposit, variance reconciliation, and reporting. This includes supervising the work of the Lead Auditor and overseeing work completed by the Auditors and Couriers.
The duties listed below cover the principle duties of the position and are not meant to be all-inclusive; it is expected that all employees will perform other duties as assigned.
Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with Company safety and security policies and procedures.
Manages, plans, directs, and coordinates all work required for the audit and Courier functions.
Ensures that staffing levels are adequate to meet the workload and schedule requirements.
Ensures that costs for personnel and supplies are performed within Project budget objectives.
Reviews work for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and contract requirements.
Leads the process of investigation for excessive variances, incidents of suspected fraud or theft, or other unusual occurrences as required. Works with the Project management team and the Client to implement any required corrective actions.
Conducts the final review and ensures the timely & accurate submittal of E-Pass Service lane reconciliation reports to the Client
Monitors and reviews the revenue collection, deposit, and reconciliation process working in close coordination with the Toll Operations Manager and plaza management.
Conducts the final review and ensures the timely submittal of all required audit reports to the Client.
Conducts scheduled and unscheduled audits to ensure that all plaza funds are properly accounted for and safeguarded including the supervisor's change funds, TSA Tour Funds, plaza change orders, and coin vaults.
Interfaces with the Client's staff, banking contractors, toll system maintenance provider, and other entities as required. Ensures that the Client is regularly informed and updated on any issues that may affect system accuracy and reliability or the timeliness of reporting.
Responds to and assists the Client with any special audits conducted by their internal or external audit and accounting staff.
Maintains all required documentation and ensures that all original documents are turned over to the Client for storage and archiving on agreed to schedules.
Completes performance reviews for all personnel and makes recommendations for salary increases and any Project incentive programs. Counsels staff on any performance issues and required performance improvement objectives.
Mentors, coaches, and develops staff for career growth.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
2 years prior work experience in finance, accounting or business administration
Experience with Microsoft Office applications software
Intermediate experience with Excel
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
Experience creating macros in Excel
Prior work experience or knowledge of the Central Florida Expressway Authority toll operations
