Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented MEP BIM Manager for immediate employment for the Orange, CA office.

The MEP BIM Manager will partner with the Architectural BIM Manager to ensure compliance with existing standards, and further develop those standards to help drive AECOM in our pursuit for excellence in this arena. When not participating in general BIM guidance and implementation of standards for new projects, the BIM Manager will use her/his design skills to assist the MEP department in development of designs and contract documents.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • 8+ years' experience

  • Fully conversant with REVIT 2013, and familiar with previous versions

  • Drafting / Engineering Drafting AND AutoDESK Revit MEP trained

  • Able to provide electrical or mechanical or plumbing design

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time

  • Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives

  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency

  • Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills

  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Revit certification

  • High level communicator who is a capable teacher for all levels of BIM users
