About the Business Line


Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

The AECOM Orange office is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer to plan and execute remediation system O&M and pilot tests, and other environmental investigation/remediation activities for various clients in Southern California.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies which assess various remediation alternatives

  • Work on large complex projects with the opportunity to learn and expand skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree civil or environmental engineering

  • 2+ years of professional experience.

  • OSHA 40-hour training

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a project team and a fast paced environment

  • Strong technical background; excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office; time management skills

  • Self-motivated, experienced with remediation systems, construction management, an excellent communicator both oral and written, have practical mechanical skills to be able to troubleshoot treatment systems, and be capable of planning, managing, and executing projects in accordance with strict AECOM and client specifications, policies, and procedures

  • US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering

  • Engineer in Training, EIT
