Position Title Electrical Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer for employment in the Orange, CA office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
As necessary, modifies established guidelines, devises new approaches, applies existing criteria in new ways and draws conclusions from comparative situations
Independently performs most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected and may be the first level of direct and sustained supervision of other engineers or technicians
Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects
Works independently with general guidance except for complex and unusual situations
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or other related field required
10+ years of experience
Licensed and/or registration as professional engineer
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)
