Job Summary

This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will be performed on Vance Air Force Base (AFB), OK.

The site FSR will provide technical guidance in the normal operation and maintenance activities of the aircraft and support systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Provide engine, airframe, and avionics technical guidance for the maintenance and operation of the T-1A aircraft and supporting systems, as required by contract.

  2. Review, understand, and communicate supplier technical data and instructional materials.

  3. Enforce strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.

  4. Ensures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions or activity

  5. Review and evaluates management and production effectiveness. Analyze personnel and equipment performance history using QA reports. Initiates management actions to meet new workloads or correct reported/perceived deficiencies.

  6. May participates in the maintenance planning cycle.

  7. Ensure only qualified personnel accomplish maintenance with the appropriate equipment and tools.

  8. Ensure compliance with safety directives, appropriate occupational safety and health standards, and applicable industrial safety publications. Those occupational training requirements that require documentation will be annotated on the appropriate records.

  9. Establish procedures to minimize foreign object damage and dropped objects.

  10. Ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed in any required MIS.

  11. Advise the production supervisor of conditions that may disrupt the orderly and controlled execution of the maintenance plan.

  12. Position will be required to provide on-call after hours assistance when required, outside of a standard 40-hour work week schedule.

  13. Provide support during accident investigations and emergency conditions, and unusual field problems.

  14. Provide training.

  15. Interface with contract maintenance, civil service, and USAF military personnel performing maintenance on the aircraft.

  16. Careful use and handling of equipment, special tools, and test equipment.

  17. Perform equipment system fault reporting and fault isolation.

  18. Assist in incorporation of modifications.

  19. Instruct and assist in resolution of equipment or system problems.

  20. Instruct and assist in the removal and installation of all components on the aircraft.

  21. Generate and provide on time contract deliverables.

Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will be performed on Vance Air Force Base (AFB), OK.

At a minimum, must possess 10 years of maintenance experience on small, multi-engine jet aircraft. T-1A maintenance experience is preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.

Position may require travel.

Position will require the ability to pass a pre-employment drug-screen and a government background check.

Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or Management is preferred.

A&P License is preferred.
