AECOM is seeking a Sr. Cost Analyst to support the Fighters & Bombers Directorate (AFLCMC/WW) at Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB), Oklahoma.
This position will provide financial management/comptroller support for in cost research, cost estimating, earned value management implementation and analysis, schedule networking, program control integration and analysis, and financial analysis on a wide variety of programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Plan, organize, complete, and present cost estimates for all phases of acquisition process.
Perform materiel solution analyses leading up to design reviews.
Conduct research and provide inputs to program financial management including: budget and financial analysis; obligation and expenditure forecasting; funds management.
Perform contract/financial transaction reconciliation and closeout duties.
Assist financial analysts with the verification of data input accuracy into the various financial/payment systems and reconciliation of Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) data to the CCaRs database.
Research and assist with the development of funds reconciliation based upon data.
Maintain and update the funding obligation plan and evaluate funding overruns or upward adjustment requests.
Perform required reviews and resolve issues. Works with DFAS to correct issues.
Apply expertise in canceling and expiring year funds process.
Apply working knowledge of Military policies and procedures to complete monthly reviews and ensure compliance.
Knowledgeable of the DoD financial regulations, procedures, codes, and laws.
Participate in year-end closeout team activities and preparation of the budget and quarterly reports.
Review and analyze costs to identify and allocate costs shared between the USAF and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. Reviews requests for closure, review expenditures to date, and allocate unexpended funds between countries.
Support development of strategies for cross platform capability requirements; assists with initiating, writing, reviewing, developing, and implementing financial documentation.
Develop, analyze, and maintain a master integrated program schedule from concept exploration to fielding a system.
Prepare program cost estimates and verify the accuracy of the data inputs in the cost estimating systems.
Candidate shall have 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree or a Bachelor Degree and 15 years of experience.
Must obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the required level.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). Must be proficient in the use of CCaRs.
