Job Summary

This position will provide support to the EW Maritime Division as follows:

  • Provide analytical and technical support for program budget preparation. Support the development of objective quality evidence to help defend the program budget at each phase of the review cycle.

  • Review budget artifacts and ensures coordination/alignment between field activity estimates, contract hardware pricing, program ledgers, spend plans and task planning sheets. Review these artifacts to create reports on cost, schedule and performance. Provide recommendations to ensure the program will be maintained with no reduction in funding or scheduling.

  • Attend formal and informal program meetings/reviews as required. Document the status of each action item resulting from the reviews and provide status on all open and closed action items from the reviews.

  • Prepare briefing materials and accompany program leaders at various program meetings.

  • Develop, analyze, make recommendations (including rationale) and provide technical support in preparing program plans and associated documentation.

  • Develop, prepare and maintain program reports such as Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for use in the reporting and review of the various projects being supported. This includes providing data management support for the full project life cycle.

  • Gather and manage data required for developing reports, maintaining databases and preparing documents (automated to the maximum extent possible) for submission to project customers on schedule and in the required format. This includes tracking project deliverables on multiple projects, developing spreadsheets to track project costs, funding limitations, government-furnished equipment, government-furnished information, etc.

  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience and two to four years of experience in project support or management is required. Must have good communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must also have working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications and the ability to perform detail-oriented work.

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications Current active DoD Security Clearance preferred.
