About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mechanical Engineer for immediate employment in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support project teams with engineering for the following:
Transmission pipelines and distribution systems
Valve and compressor stations
Process engineering (conditioning, treating, processing and compression)
Perform a variety of design tasks applicable to midstream consulting engineering, including:
Front-end Engineering Design (FEED)
Pipeline Integrity Management
Pipeline Construction Oversight
Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in Natural Gas, NGL, Petroluem Liquids
Competent in all Microsoft Office tools
Great people skills and ready to work with diverse teams on a variety of small to large projects, some with quick turn-around times
Interest in Midstream Oil and Gas Sector, and becoming an industry expert
US citizenship required
- Process design experience, inlcuding simulation skills on Promax and Hysys or other similar software, Compressor Design/Build, Pump Station Design/Build
