Position Title Small Arms and Vision Systems Technician

Provide technical support in the assessments of shipboard Small Arms weapons and Night Vision Devices.
Perform Integrated Class Maintenance Plan (ICMP) Assessments, Total Ships Readiness Assessment (TSRA), Combat Systems, Command, Control, Communications and Computer Readiness Assessments (C5RA), Inspections, and Fleet Technical Assistance for Small Arms weapons and Night Vision Systems and Devices.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: A minimum of eight (8) years full-time hands-on technical experience within last 15 years in the operation, maintenance, installation, test, and/or repair of electrical/electronic systems/equipment incorporated in Combat, ASW, USW, MIW, or C4I systems.
A minimum of four (4) years full-time engineering experience within the last 10 years hands-on experience in performing Small Arms Weapons inspections and Night Vision Device inspections.
Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Small Arms Weapons and Night Vision Devices.
Must have successfully completed:
U.S. Navy or USCG Gunner’s Mate (GM) system/equipment “A” and/or “C” school.
Small Arms Inspection & Testing Certification training at Naval Surface Warfare Center Division, CRANE.
Night Vision Inspection & Testing Certification training at Naval Surface Warfare Center Division, CRANE.
Experience on the following guns, small arm weapons, vision systems, and/or related/equivalent systems/equipment: Beretta M9, H&K MK24, SIG SAUER MK25, SIG SAUER M11, SIG SAUER P239, H&K MP5, M16/M4, M14/MK14, MK17, SCAR, TY56, Remington 870, Mossberg 500, M240, M2 HB, MK46, MK48, MK44, MK19, MK47 ALGL, M203, MK13 EGLM, M224, 60mm Mortar, M72 LAW Trainer, M3, 84mm Recoilless Rifle, MK93 Mount, MK95 Mount. MK99 Mount, AN PVS-24, SU-230/PVS, SU-231/PEQ, SU-232/PAS, LA5-PEQ, AN PVS-15, SU-250/PVS, SU-252, PAS-13, SU-252, DCL-110 and SU-264
Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
