Position Title Radar Technician

AECOM is actively seeking a Engineering Technician to provide Technical support to the NSWC PHD Radar ISEA. The position will be located at Naval Base, Dam Neck, VA.
Provide technical assistance with the troubleshooting and repair of surface ship Radar Systems
Provide onboard training to ships force as necessary
Identify required parts necessary to restore system operations in accordance with the Original Manufactures specifications
Assist with the installation of field changes
Experience with AN/SPS-67 and/or AN/SPS-73 radar operations
High school diploma and two to four years’ experience in field engineering are required. .
Position requires the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
Position requires travel. Approx. 30%
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
AN/BPS-XX a plus
Fiber Optic installation/repair
Lab experience troubleshooting, and repair of components
Microsoft Office Suite
