Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Program Support Intern to join our team in Norfolk, VA. The position is a Temporary, Part-Time position. The Intern will work within a team providing direct, daily program management support on a Navy government contract.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Operate word-processing equipment and utilize integrated software packages to complete varied standard assignments.

  2. Operate photocopiers and other office machines.

  3. Provide departmental administrative support as needed.

  4. Type documentation according to required formats.

  5. Assist in preparation of technical reports, charts, tables, data bases and a wide variety of material in specific formats.

  6. Develop expertise using commercial and non-standard, specially developed word processing and data base programs.

  7. Act as courier or receptionist as necessary

  8. Assist with entering and tracking contract travel.

  9. Assist with collection, analysis and compilation of data for monthly reports.

  10. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • Must be current active college Junior or Senior, Seniors are preferred.

  • Business Administration Degree or related majors preferred

  • Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires USA citizenship.
