Position Title Network On-Site Representative (NOSR)

AECOM is actively seeking a Network On-Site Representative (NOSR) to provide technical evaluation and perform the required corrective actions for Submarine Local Area Network (SubLAN) casualties. All work is performed in accordance with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual and all other applicable Navy Maintenance Procedures.
Assist in the disassembly, reassembly, installation and testing of the SubLAN systems onboard all classes of submarines.
Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, certification tasks. Perform validations/ verifications of various electronic systems.
Draft Technical Assistance Visit reports upon completion of corrective actions.
Review change proposals for equipment impacts.
Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions.
Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, trouble-shooting procedures, drawing
updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.
Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise.
Establish and maintain a filing system, databases and logs as needed for tracking project status and inventory.
Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed.
Comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures.
Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout and contract
Serve as senior/lead technician and assist in the training of other technicians.
Experience completing System Back-ups, Switch Configurations and Software Configurations
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Experience with the following systems is required: SubLAN (SIPR/NIPR), NTCSS/NIAPS, and NTDPS.
Good communications and analytical skills; demonstrated working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
Position may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
Position may require travel.
Position requires the ability to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
